I’ve spent over 20 years in IT, and somewhere along the way Customer Communications Management became the thing I genuinely got excited about.
Before becoming a CCM migration ambassador, I spent years deep in the tools themselves – Quadient (GMC) Inspire, OpenText (HP) Exstream – first as a developer, then as a team lead, and for three years running my own consultancy. So when a client tells me their legacy setup is “a bit complicated,” I usually know exactly what kind of complicated they mean.
Today I lead Professional Services at Quertum. My team handles CCM implementations and migrations from A to Z.
Here’s how I think about Legacy Migration: the technology is the easy part. The hard part is getting honest about what the business actually needs. I start every project by digging into the client’s reality — what hurts, what’s holding them back, what the migration should genuinely unlock. Then we make brave decisions together. We rationalize content.
We let go of the “pixel perfect” obsession and embrace omnichannel flexibility. And yes, we use LLM-powered automation to take the boring, repeatable parts off the table – so the team can focus on the decisions that actually matter.
Outside work, I’m curious about pretty much everything. New food, new places, new people. I read manuals for fun, watch “how it’s made” videos, and never turn down good sci-fi or a solid crime novel. Weekends? Family, the dog, and our little garden plot. Simple, and exactly right.
